  • What is iCubed Learning?
    iCubed Learning is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit microschool and learning center based in Tempe, Arizona that offers a personalized and flexible learning experiences for homeschool and online students in Grades 7-12. We work with students via a 1:1 teacher to student model, with most students meeting for in-person or virtual sessions for 2 or 4 hour sessions for 1-3 days per week.
  • Where is iCubed Learning located?
    Our Tempe microschool is located in a professional office complex at 1250 East Baseline Road Suite 102, Tempe, AZ 85283. We are centrally located near the US 60, I-10, and 101 freeways. Our location features a lobby/waiting room for families, in addition to 2 learning studios, 1 kitchenette area, and a private restroom dedicated solely for iCubed and not shared with our neighboring office tenants.
  • What are the prerequisites for enrolling in iCubed Learning’s microschool?
    Students must be in grades 7-12 and ready for independent learning in a hybrid setting. 7th and 8th-grade students must be prepared for high school coursework immediately upon enrollment, starting with Algebra I for math and 9th-grade English. Tuition must be paid before the 1st session of each month.
  • What is a Microschool?
    A microschool is a modern, innovative approach to education that combines the best aspects of traditional schooling, homeschooling, and personalized learning. Microschools typically consist of small groups of students, allowing for more individualized attention and instruction. This educational model places a strong emphasis on customizing education to fit each child's unique needs, interests, and learning style. At iCubed Learning, we utilize the microschool model to provide a flexible and personalized educational experience in a 4:1 class size.
  • Does iCubed Learning offer extracurricular activities or social programs?
    No. iCubed Learning is purely academically focused and does not offer sports, clubs, or extracurricular activities. We are able to support iCubed families in identifying these opportunities, particularly if using ESA funding.
  • What are the available scheduling options?
    We offer three plans for the 2025-2026 school year, with sessions being either 2 or 4 hours long: 1-Day Plan: $150/Month-$300/Month 2-Day Plan: $250/Month-$500/Month 3-Day Plan: $750/Month-$1500/Month
  • What is an Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA)?
    Arizona's Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) is a statewide program that provides eligible families with funds to customize their child's education. The funds can be used for a variety of educational expenses, including tuition and fees, textbooks, and more. Although the amount of funds vary by student, the typical ESA award ranges between $6,000-$7,000 per student. One of the unique benefits of the ESA program is the flexibility it provides, allowing families to choose the educational resources and services that best meet their child's needs.   • Do you accept ESA?
    Yes, iCubed Learning Inc accepts ESA and is an approved direct pay vendor on ClassWallet. We do not require families to use ESA, but strongly recommend that eligible families utilize the program in order to cover costs of tuition, supplies, materials, testing fees, etc.
