About iCubed Learning Inc.

Founded in 2022, iCubed Learning Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit learning center serving Arizona students and families through our tutoring and microschool programs. For the 2025-2026 school year, our programs will be working exclusively with students prepared for high school-level coursework in grades 7-12. Our instructors are all Arizona certified educators with prior experience as teachers and administrators in K-12 traditional public and charter schools.

In addition to academic support, we also provide consultations to Arizona families using Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) funding. These consulting services include guiding families on applying for an ESA in Arizona, complying with ESA regulations, budgeting these funds for the year and beyond, vetting/choosing a curriculum, creating a plan of study with high school credit tracking/course requirements, and preparing academic schedules and routines for successful at-home learning. Through this service we are able to help families identify ways of meeting both Arizona high school graduation and college entrance requirements, as well reduce the cost of college attendance by incorporating dual enrollment or community college classes for students prepared for college-level coursework.

We understand and acknowledge that many students and families may switch between enrollment in microschools and traditional schools throughout their K-12 journey. To ensure our students are prepared for that scenario, our microschool utilizes Arizona state standards for instruction and aligns each student's individual learning plan to Arizona high school diploma requirements. As a result, we do review and check curricula/course providers that is not part of our preferred list very closely. While we are able to accommodate many online high school programs, not all curriculum/course providers are aligned with our program's goals.

All iCubed students are required to participate in testing through the NWEA Measuring Academic Progress (MAP) benchmark assessment, administered three times a school year in Math and Reading. This is done to provide supplemental evidence to families of academic progress and growth. It also assists us in preparing and revising your student's individual learning plan throughout the school year.

iCubed Learning Inc. was established with support from the KaiPod Catalyst program and initial start-up grant funding from the VELA Education Fund. Our organization is also an active member of the National Microschooling Center, where we are a signatory and supporter of

their 9 Principles for Microschooling.

At iCubed Learning Inc., we are dedicated to the power of personalized education. Our approach involves a premium, high-quality 1-on-1 learning model, a method that has previously been inaccessible and unaffordable for most Arizona families.

Our private, affordable, and personalized learning approach enables us to provide dedicated attention and tailor lessons to each student's specific needs and pace of learning. While we accommodate remote learners, we stress the importance and value behind scheduling in-person sessions at our South Tempe office location at 1250 E. Baseline Rd, conveniently located near the US 60 freeway and in between the intersections of Baseline & Lakeshore/Baseline & McClintock.

As demand for alternative K-12 education evolves, 1-on-1 learning is emerging as a more accessible mode of teaching and learning in the 21st century.
